Overdraft Privilege Consent Details
Life comes at you fast. Sometimes you get thrown a financial curve ball by making an honest mistake in your checkbook or you didn’t have time to stop by to make your bank deposit. Overdraft Privilege will help save you from one of life’s embarrassing moments of a returned check or denied electronic transaction. After all, we need flexibility with our bank accounts.
So, instead of returning checks unpaid or declining transactions when you use your FNBC debit card, we’ll automatically pay them for you, up to your Overdraft Privilege limit. Remember to Opt In, if you would like your debit card transactions approved using the overdraft privilege.
Overdraft Privilege is a benefit of your checking account. For accounts in good standing, the service will generally pay overdrafts up to your Overdraft Privilege limit. Normal overdraft fees of $34.99 per item will apply, whether the overdraft is caused by check, in-person withdrawal or electronic means.
New accounts must maintain a positive balance and be in good standing for at least 30 days to be approved for Overdraft Privilege.
Overdraft Privilege service may be withdrawn at FNBC's discretion.
Accounts using the Overdraft Privilege must be brought to a positive balance within 30 days to continue use of the Overdraft Privilege Program.
